Video: Celebrating diversity at DA

Dakar Academy boasts a thriving international community where diversity is not only welcomed, but celebrated. Approximately 34 countries are currently represented on campus, with many students—as Third Culture Kids (TCKs)—identifying with more than one culture.

This week, students were invited to learn about other countries represented on campus during a hands-on, International Appreciation event. Parents and community members volunteered to host a room on campus for their home country, where they shared food, customs, language, dance, games, and more.
